Thank you for visiting and purchasing from University Meat. The following Terms and Conditions constitute our Shipping, Delivery and Returns Policy.
Order and Shipment Processing
University Meat aims to process all orders within 24 hours of submission. We offer next business day dispatch or Click & Collect from our warehouse in Coolaroo, Victoria, during standard business hours.
Orders placed before 2:00 pm will be dispatched on the next business day.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders or stock is unavailable, shipments may be delayed. If there is a significant delay in processing or dispatching your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays and cannot be delivered to P.O. Boxes.
Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on weight, cubic measurements and delivery location.
From the date of dispatch, delivery is generally completed within 48 hours. Goods will not be left unattended upon delivery due to HACCP food safety requirements.
Orders under $200.00 (including GST) will incur a delivery fee of $25.00 (including GST). All orders will incur a fuel levy fee of $5.41.

Shipping Partners
We use our own logistics network. Depending on your requirements, University Meat will allocate the most appropriate delivery method or freight carrier.
Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has been dispatched. This email will contain your order number and any applicable tracking information.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
University Meat is not responsible for any customs duties, taxes or other charges applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer.
Damaged Goods
If you receive any products that are damaged, please contact us within 12 hours of delivery. Please retain all packaging, labelling materials and damaged goods until your claim has been assessed.
Returns and Exchanges
Items may only be returned or exchanged once approved by a University Meat team member and a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) has been issued.
You must contact us within 12 hours of receiving your order to arrange a return or exchange. To be eligible for a return or exchange, products must be unopened, stored below 4°C, and in the same condition and original packaging as received.
All returned goods must be accompanied by a completed RMA form and proof of purchase, including the relevant invoice or receipt number.
Refunds and Credits
Upon receipt of the returned goods, we will inspect the items and notify you of the status of your refund or credit.
If your return is approved, we will process a refund or credit to your credit card or trade account.
Credits will be processed within 48 hours of receiving the returned goods. Depending on your card issuer's policies, it may take additional time for the credit to appear on your account.
You are responsible for all shipping costs associated with returning goods. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is the result of an error made by University Meat or the manufacturer.
Refunds will not be issued for change of mind, over-ordering, or ordering the incorrect product specification.
Once an RMA has been approved, a 15% restocking fee will apply.
