Thank you for visiting and purchasing from University Meat. The following are terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping, Delivery & Returns Policy: 

Order and Shipment Processing

University Meat aim to process all orders within 24 hours of submission.  University Meat offers next day dispatch, or click and collect from our warehouse in Coolaroo, Victoria - during standard business hours.  Orders placed prior to 12pm will be despatched next business day.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders or stock is unavailable, shipments may be delayed.  If there are significant delays in shipment, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays and cannot be shipped or delivered to P.O. Boxes

Shipping rates & delivery estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout depending on weight, cubic measurement, and location. From date of shipment, delivery is generally within 48 hours from order. Goods will not be left unattended upon delivery due to HACCAP regulations. Orders Under $200 will attract a delivery fee of $25 (Inc GST). Delivery days are as follows:

Shipping Partners

We use our own logistic network. Depending on your requirement, University Meat will allocate the most appropriate freight carrier.

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s) and order number.

Customs, Duties and Taxes

University Meat is not responsible for any customs and/or taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.). 


If you have received any products which are damaged, please contact us within 12 hours. Please save all packaging/labelling materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.


Items can only be retuned/exchanged once approved by a University Meat team member and a RMA (Returns Merchandise Authorisation) form is issued.

You have 12 hours to contact us to co-ordinate a return/exchange for goods from the time you received it. To be eligible for a return/exchange, your product must be unopened, stored under 4 Degrees and in the same condition (original packaging) that you received it. Goods need to be returned with a completed RMA including receipt/invoice number/proof of purchase.


Upon receipt of your goods,we will immediately notify you on the status of your refund/credit after inspecting the item. 

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund/crediot to your credit card or trade account.

Credits will be processed with 48 Hours of receipt of goods. Depending on your card issuer's policies, some credit card’s take a little bit longer to receive a credit. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.  Unless the item(s) being returned were send in error on behalf of the manufacturer or University Meat. We do not issue refunds for change of mind, over ordering or ordering the wrong specification.

Once the RMA has been approved a 15% Restocking Fee will be applicable.
